FDA RULES YOU MAY NOT VAPE IN PUBLIC ENCLOSED SPACES
The FDA has ruled that you are not permitted to vape in any public enclosed spaces. Places such as this include businesses, public rest rooms, bars, sporting event arenas, movie theaters and airports to name a few. This ruling is similar to rulings made by the FDA in previous years banning traditional cigarettes from public enclosed spaces. As of now, Vape stores are the only public enclosed space that you ARE permitted to vape in.
This ban is not limited to public buildings but is broadened to encompass modes of public transportation as well. You may not vape on trains, in airplanes, on buses and in taxis. Though they are considered public transportation as well, many cruise ships have designated smoking areas on their decks and some allow vaping inside casinos and nightclubs found on the ship as well as in your private rooms. Though this is a case on most ships, it is important to check with the specific company you are traveling with to make sure you know what they do and don’t allow before traveling.
There are various penalties involved when it comes to vaping in public spaces. These can include a warning or being asked to leave the premises, a fine and/or jail time. The punishment will depend on where you have been caught vaping and what the laws are in that particular location.
